Funding will expand AI-enabled care, enterprise partnerships and research as Allara builds on more than 120,000 women served
NEW YORK, October 13, 2026 – Allara, the women’s health company delivering integrated virtual care for hormonal, metabolic and reproductive conditions, today announced $30 million in new funding, bringing total funding to $75 million. Five of the company’s existing investors, including Index Ventures and GV, increased their commitments, joined by new investors Camino Partners, Foreground Capital, and Family Fund.
Allara is fixing a healthcare system that is often broken for women. In a recent survey of more than 1,600 women joining Allara, 58% had already spoken with two or more providers about their symptoms, and 80% of those who had seen another provider said their symptoms were dismissed or minimized. Among women who had tried a weight-management medication, 30% said they had stopped one because their provider didn’t support them.
“Women don’t avoid care because they don’t care about their health. They avoid it because they have needs that go well beyond an annual visit,” said Rachel Blank, founder and CEO of Allara. “We built Allara to treat women’s health as connected, because hormones, metabolism and life stage don’t work in isolation. We’ve proven that model works at scale and can be covered by insurance. AI enhanced workflows for our providers makes it far more powerful: faster for our clinicians, easier for our patients, and available to millions more women who deserve a better healthcare experience.”
Allara pairs women’s health clinicians with registered dietitians to address hormonal, metabolic and reproductive health in one platform. More than 120,000 women have received care through Allara, and its data highlights:
- Among patients with obesity (BMI over 30) in care for six months or longer, 73% lost weight, 48% lost at least 5% of their body weight (the threshold associated with clinically meaningful health improvements) and 28% lost 10% or more.
- Among members with irregular cycles, 69% reported improved menstrual regularity.
- 89% of surveyed patients said they feel supported in making positive changes to their health, and 78% reported positive changes to their diet.
This year, Allara expanded the treatments available on its platform to include GLP-1 medications paired with lifestyle and nutrition guidance, perimenopause care including hormone replacement therapy, and prescription skincare and hair loss options that address some of the most common symptoms of hormonal conditions. The company also launched virtual urgent care for needs like BV, UTIs and STI testing. Together, these offerings let Allara meet more of a woman’s needs, across more stages of life, within one care relationship.
The new funding will support three priorities: using AI to make care faster and the experience more personalized, expanding access through partnerships and advancing research in women’s health.
Extending care with technology.
Allara is investing in AI-enabled tools across the patient journey, from intake to ongoing treatment management, designed to help its clinicians spend more time on care while keeping providers at the center of every patient relationship.
A personalized care experience, powered by AI.
Allara’s proprietary workflows already support its clinicians; they can spend time with their patients and deliver treatment virtually. The company is now extending AI across the patient journey, from intake and scheduling to ongoing treatment management. All patient data is encrypted and secured, and providers remain at the center of every care decision.
Expanding access.
Allara offers in-network access through major insurers in most states. Beyond employer partnerships, the company is expanding partnerships with providers and across the broader healthcare ecosystem, creating multiple paths to reach patients while building on its existing insurance coverage and clinical infrastructure.
Advancing research.
Allara is building one of the largest datasets in women’s health, using real-world patient insights to advance research and develop new approaches to care for historically understudied conditions, including PCOS/PMOS, thyroid disorders and endometriosis, as well as critical life stages such as postpartum and perimenopause. The company is turning these insights into published research to help close longstanding gaps in women’s healthcare.
“Allara is delivering an exceptional care experience for women whose complex needs have fallen through the cracks in the traditional healthcare system,” said Elle Lanning, President at Camino Partners. “Rachel and her team have built an approach that meets women where they are, takes their conditions seriously, and consistently delivers outcomes through a unique multidisciplinary care model.”
