Real Stories From Women With PMOS

“Life Changing!”

From the start, they moved quickly with labs and medications, and truly listened to me helping find solutions no other doctor had ever tried. They’ve guided me through managing my PMOS, and I already feel so much better after just 3–4 months... As someone who works in the medical field, I see so many people struggling with the same issues, and I always recommend Allara.

“The support my regular doctor never gave me”

What stands out most is that they address things my regular doctor never did. I’ve lived with PMOS my whole life and only truly understood it at 33 because of this platform. That alone feels life-changing for me in so many ways. I finally feel seen, informed, and supported.

Your providers will work with you on a personalized care plan with goals at each appointment and ongoing monitoring of your health outcomes.
How is Allara different from traditional PMOS care?+
Allara is a healthcare program that lets patients access expert, specialty care through virtual appointments. Our providers take a patient-centered approach and combine medical and nutrition support to treat you as a whole. This model allows for more personalized care plans and sustainable, long-term management of your symptoms, with shorter wait times to see a provider.
Is Allara covered by my insurance?+
Allara is in network with many major insurance providers, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, Anthem, Aetna, and more. If you don’t have insurance, or we don’t take your insurance, you can still access comprehensive care through our self-pay option.
Where is Allara available?+
Allara offers complete medical and nutrition care across most U.S. states, and a nutrition-only membership in Hawaii, Kansas, New Mexico, and Rhode Island. Check the current state list before enrolling, as availability changes.
What happens at my first visit?+
You meet virtually with a women’s health specialist to go deep on your symptoms, history, and goals. No rushed appointments and no brushed-off concerns. Your provider uses this visit to build the foundation of your care plan.
Does Allara replace my OBGYN or PCP?+
No. Allara focuses on specialty and complex gynecology care. We recommend continuing routine evaluations, and care during pregnancy, with your in-person OB/GYN and primary care provider. To keep your care comprehensive, we recommend asking your in-person providers to share notes with your Allara providers.
What kind of providers will I see?+
Your clinical team is one medical provider and one registered dietitian, and you stay with the same providers for every visit. Allara’s team includes OBGYNs, WHNPs, endocrinologists, and registered dietitians, all board certified U.S. licensed healthcare professionals.
Does Allara prescribe medication?+
Every Allara patient decides what, if any, medications are right for them. Collaborative care between you and your medical provider includes a thorough discussion of your treatment plan, including medications. Many patients at Allara choose to be completely prescription-free.
